It would be very handy to be able to save the default set of columns to import into Excel in the first instance. I have to go through the process of selecting columns every time I open a model in Excel, but if i could specify for example, the Name, Description, DataType, Length, Precision as the default columns to always start with this would save a lot of time when opening and closing lots of different models.
You should be able to achieve this by saving your Excel file. It can reused with the selection of columns using “eaXL > Open existing” eaDocX menu.
Then simply run an EA export to Excel from the selected package or element in your EA project browser.
