Can't Save After Changing Document Version Text

When you create a new C level version (x.x.x.0) of a document, you are prompted for a description, but that description cannot be edited when you make D level revisions. If you manually change the description in the <> element, you get the message on Full Generation that the document was generated but cannot be saved.

Please advise.

Not my experience. I changed the text and regenerated and the amended text was included in the document. Not really sure though why you would want to record comments at this level since the documents are only saved at ‘C’ level.
