In EAExample I used Components package to create a quick document.
Then in document settings I changed “Text style – table cells” to “No spacing” and generated document.
At this point everything have generated correctly.
After that I opened document settings again and changed “Word style for diagram titles” to “Caption” and generated document again.
This time the generated document has the correct style for diagram titles, but the table cells style returned to default.Ad.2
I meant table captions same as it is possible with diagrams: “Figure 1 : Components”. Best i got with tables was just plain “Table 1 – “.
I believe that with the options “Print figure number for each table” and “Use auto-naming of tables” from the Document settings, those table captions should contain name of the parent element.
So with the same quick document as in ad.1 I should get something like “Table 2 – Order”.Follow-up post:

I cannot quite find a way to recreate this with the EAExample model. This error occurred originally when I tried to force two different profiles on the same element. The document contained element report and two identical sections – all containing the same elements. If I happen to run into this error again, I will create a new, detailed post on this topic.Jarosław
ParticipantHi, while working with our documents in eaDocX, we have encountered several more issues:
1. It is not possible to generate a single section containing the Matrix Report. Instead, the entire document must be generated.
2. Opening a document in eaDocX seems to disable the Always Show Ribbon setting.
4. After adding two identical EA sections and changing the formatting of one of them, an error appears when trying to change the formatting of the second section.Furthermore, there are some features that we either cannot find or are not available in in eaDocX:
1. We would like to generate two tables of the same elements, each containing different columns. Is this currently possible?
2. We have not found a way to include tagged value descriptions in the document.
3. When selecting the option to define custom formatting for an Element Report, we would like to be able to create a profile and specify the columns to be included in the report. We would greatly appreciate clarification on whether these features are currently supported. If they are not available, we would like to request that they be considered for future updates.
The version we are using is 1.5.0.10
