Importing data

If you have data which is saved as spreadsheets, eaSheets an help you to import it quickly and simply.

  1. Find the EA package where you want the data to be saved
  2. Open a sheet on that package – Specialize / eaSheets / Open elements in Sheet*
  3. Find the data you want to import, for example, from another spreadsheet
  4. Copy and paste the data into your eaSheet
  5. Make sure the ‘name’ column has the name of the elements you are importing
  6. For the other columns, fill-in the field or tagged value in row 2

*If the data you are importing also contains information about relationships between data, you can import these with an eaSheets Smart Sheet.
