Home › Forums › eaDocX queries › Profile is being overruled when adding new section
Hello
In my profile, I have indicated instances of type pools, lanes and events as “do not print”.
When inserting a new section, this is overruled and these instances are printed once again.
Screenshots and profile are added in attachments.

This has been fixed in the latest release: 5.0.4.3. Existing profiles will no longer overwrite existing ones EXCEPT when there is no profile (this shows as ‘do not print’). So, if you delete a profile for a specific element type (for example, ‘Comment’) , then add a new section with some Comment elements in it, eaDocX will add a new profile for ‘Comment’. That’s just because eaDocX can’t tell the difference between ‘there is no Profile because someone deleted one which WAS there’ and ‘there just isn’t a profile’.
