“eaDocX 3.7.5.1” doesn’t support several stereotypes at elements.
In particular when determining the filter of the report only the first stereotypes defined for elements as restriction of the filter are available. In an investment the elementary example – model with one class to which two stereotypes are applied. In dialogue of creation of the report (attached) only one of them is available. If to enter the second stereotype into this field manually – that all the same the element won’t be found in report result.
To simplify the decision, I investigated model of data of EA a little.
As far as I understand, you choose stereotypes from the column “t_object.Stereotype”. This field, probably, remained in model for providing the return. As all stereotypes actually are stored in expanded attributes of an element in the table “t_xref”.
The request to the test model “SELECT * FROM t_xref” will return in
In particular for test model in the field of Description:
@STEREO;Name=entity;GUID={089723D9-0676-44e0-A2E9-EF00F0E7416D};FQName=SoaML::entity;@ENDSTEREO;
@STEREO;Name=boundary;GUID={897937D7-10B1-45ee-800E-41F0F8DBA93E};@ENDSTEREO;
It is obvious that the description of one stereotype of an element is between tags “@STEREO;” and “@ENDSTEREO;”.
In this block stereotype parameters are determined:
So, I ask you to consider the possibility of introduction to eaDocX support of several stereotypes of an element everywhere where they are used at least as filters.
I hope for understanding.
PS> I apologize, move this message to “Suggestion Box” 🙂
There is no plan to make eaDocX – using the standard user interface – support elements which have multiple stereotypes.
You would need to use eaDocX scripting.
