    Hi

    Just installed eaDocX trial at a client site on a brand new machine

    This machine only has Ms Office Starter 2010 installed and when eaDocX starts it throws a System.NullReferenceException at eaDocXAddIn.eaDocXTabs.openTab(Repository repository, String filename)

    Does eaDocX work with the Starter Edition or is a full installation of MS Office required?

    Or is something else wrong?

    If this is one of those office editions which incrementally installs bits of function as they are used, then no: the mechanism which detects that the user is using a bit of e.g. Word is OK at downloading new stuff, but doesn’t work when Word is being used by eaDocX via the API.
    Summary – no, I don’t expect eaDocX to work with this version of Word
