Is it possible to use anything but “Heading 1”, “Heading 2” etc for inline headings? ie could I apply styles “MyHeading 1”, “MyHeading 2” etc.

The reason is that the company style within the template uses new styles rather than re-defining the old ones.

The answer is to maybe have a template just for eaDocX but 1) in means it has to be maintained and 2) it goes against the company standard.

I agree, it’s an unnecessary restriction.
I’m just re-writing the Settings mechanism prior to R3.3, so I’ll add this to the list of things which will then be settable using the new function.
    Thanks
