    Thanks for the suggestion.

You weren’t the only one asking for this so we have provided this feature in the latest version – download the Beta v2.2 and see the Element Cross Reference reports.

    Hello mconfoy,

I have amended the trial key so you can download it now – apologies for the problem.

To use it, you need to download the eaDocX .msi file (either the current full release version or the new Beta) and install it on your machine.
When you next start EA, eaDocX will be listed in the Extensions menu – select eaDocX | Licence Information, paste the key into the field and validate.
You will then be running your 30 day trial.

Regarding the Contact Us form, I have tested it and cannot find a problem… Please let me know via this forum if it doesn’t work again.

    Thanks

    Hi Stefan

Have you tried the Compact document feature? It sounds like what you are asking for.

Select Tools | Options | General then check the Compact document box and headings for any empty fields will not be printed.

in reply to: Conditional Formatting – Replacement text #5786

    Strange…

From your notes I assume you’re using Relationship Matrix and not Element report or standard table or in-line output?

In the Relationship Matrix, conditional formatting rules apply to the stereotype of the relationship, not the stereotypes of either the source or target elements….

If you are still having problems can you send through a snippet of the XMI and the report you are trying to generate and I’ll have a look.

    Regards
    Jackie

in reply to: Conditional Formatting – Replacement text #5784

Hello Stefan, I have just tried the same thing and it works for me as expected.

The key thing with conditional formatting is to make sure you have selected the attribute field that the conditional formatting is applicable to. E.g. if the replacement text is to be applied to content in the priority field, select the priority field and define the formatting rule there.

All conditional formatting, including replacement text must be defined and applied for each attribute. This gives maximum flexibility. Conditional formatting is not applied globally across the whole set of element attributes – if this is needed, you have to define the formatting rule for all of the attributes in your element profile.

    Hope this helps

(NB I am using Beta version 2.1.0.23 – just uploaded.)

    Regards
    Jackie

in reply to: .net framework problem #5733

    Thanks Ramayav,

Let us know how you get on with the software.

NB 4.0 should have worked OK – eaDocX installer requires .net 3.5 or higher so installation on 4.0 is supported. It is possible that your 4.0 installation may not have been complete (e.g. machine restart still required)

This issue has now been fixed. Please try again using the latest version of the beta download trial. Many thanks.

I’m about to close this topic as several updates to code have been released since…
