Loading a document from a different repository
You will see this warning if you try to open a document which was generated from a different repository from the one you currently have open. eaDocX can tell this, because each document has the identity of the source repository saved in it’s metadata.
If your current repository and the repository from which the document came are very similar (copies of each other, or where one has the same data as the other – this means it has elements with the same GUIDs) then there is a good chance your document can be re-generated. Though you may still get errors.
If the two repositories are very different, then you should NOT continue to load the document, as trying to re-generate or modify it will almost certainly create errors, and may corrupt your document.
Before you load any document like this, take a backup.
